Sammy's Authentic Italian Restaurant Privacy Policy

Who we are. Sammy's Authentic Italian Restaurant (Elsayed Mahmoud), 502 North 3rd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. Reach us at (717) 221-0192 or [email protected].
What we collect. When you join our list, book with us, or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and things like a party size, a date, or an occasion you tell us about. When you visit with us, our point of sale records your order the way every restaurant's does.
What we use it for. To confirm and manage your bookings and orders. To send you the texts and emails you signed up for: offers, news, and review invitations, around two to four messages a month. If you call us and no one answers, to send one text about that call to the number you called from. To answer you when you call or text us, or write to us in our website chat. To remember your preferences so your next visit is better. That is the list; there is no hidden use.
Marketing texts. The optional marketing checkbox on our signup page states: "I consent to receive marketing text messages, about special offers, discounts, and service updates, from Sammy's Authentic Italian Restaurant at the phone number provided. Message frequency may vary. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out." You can also ask for offers with the optional offers box on our online booking page, when the page shows it. Texting the word JOIN to our texting number works too. The first text you get is a welcome text that says how to stop. Stopping texts never affects your ability to dine with us.
Marketing emails. Entering your email on our signup page joins our email list. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
Missed-call service texts. If you call us and no one answers, we send one text about that call to the number you called from. We send it at most once in 24 hours. It has no offer and does not add you to our marketing list.
Who else touches it. Regulars Company LLC runs our marketing systems as our service provider, under instructions from us, and never sells or rents your information. The platforms that carry our messages (our texting and email providers) process it to deliver them. Nobody else, and never a sale of your data to anyone.
Sharing your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your text message opt-in is never sold, rented or passed on.
Cookies and tracking. Our website uses Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. We do not use it for ads, and we turned off Google's optional data sharing. You can block these cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on. The signup form we embed from our messaging platform sets the cookies it needs to send your entry and to keep junk out.
How we protect it. Your information sits in the accounts of the platforms named above rather than in a spreadsheet or on a laptop. Those accounts are reached over encrypted connections and are limited to the restaurant and the service provider running the systems, each with their own sign-in. If a breach ever put your information at risk, we would tell you as the law requires.
How long we keep it. As long as you are on our list or a customer, and then as long as the law asks for business records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a law requires us to keep a specific record.
Your choices. Unsubscribe links live in every email. Reply STOP to our texting number and it stops every text that number sends: offers, review invitations, missed-call replies and chat replies. Texts about a table you book come from a different number, under the booking page's own terms at https://book.regularscompany.com/terms. For anything else, including a copy or deletion of what we hold, contact us at [email protected] or (717) 221-0192 and a person will handle it.
Changes. If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes get announced to the list before they take effect.
